Thousands of runners will once again take to the half marathon course through the southern part of Dortmund at the twelfth Sparkassen-Phoenix Half Marathon next Friday (October 3). No fewer than 5,000 athletes and around 250 relay teams are expected to hear the starting signal at 11 a.m. at Dortmund's Phoenix Lake – the highest number ever. The Bochum Half Marathon 2025 could also see a record participation this year when thousands of runners hit the various courses on Sunday, September 7.
